Paige BIG tooth

Paige has a BIG person tooth...WAIT she's only 5 what the heck??? She's not old enough yet, right??? Looks like a dentist bill coming my way soon;) She shows everyone she comes in contact with her "big person" tooth.

It's a lower central incisor. Not necessarily a problem at this point in the game. Four items to add to your knowledge bank:

1. The tooth is ectopic. It should be erupting into the place where the baby teeth are (which causes the baby teeth to be loose and fall out).
2. It is erupting out of order. Her 6-year molars should be erupting prior to the eruption of the central incisors (I'm assuming she doesn't have the molars yet erupting, I can't tell from the photo).
3. She doesn't need to see a dentist to have any teeth extracted (at least not yet), but she needs a Pano radiograph taken to see how long the roots are on those baby front teeth. She may need the baby front teeth extracted down the road to make room for the grown-up teeth, and a pano radiograph will help with diagnosis.
4. Once there is room (either the baby teeth fall out or are extracted), the tongue will push that grown-up tooth into the proper position.

Nothing to freak out about, it's not that unusual to see this.
