Family

What a wonderful week, my kids and I got the opportunity to spend time with my grandparents who live in NJ. Thanks to Aunt Doreen and Uncle Kent who flew them to Utah and a HUGE thanks to Aunt Dawnne for paying over $500 for her weave and haircut so we could fly to utah to see them. Thanks to my mom for allowing us to take over her home and for cooking a hot breakfast every morning(my kids don't get that too often) and getting us whatever we needed without a question, mom you're amazing! After this past week I am greatful for such an incredible family my kids had so much fun and they didn't really have any toys to play with or playgrounds etc...to entertain them it was just my family hanging out and enjoying each other's company I absolutely loved every minute of it.
I have to admit there are times I wished I lived near my family, my kids miss out on playing with their cousins, birthdays, mother's day etc...I wish our entire family was all in one place and everyone would be happy about it but that just isn't life and it never will be so I cherish those times when we can all get together. Grandmom and Grandpop Casey I feel so blessed to have you as my grandparents I have so many wonderful memories of you and your home, grandma's garden, playing field hockey one summer, walking around the lake at night, going to Masso's or the other little convenience store on the way to Grandmom Eiting's house. I remember setting traps with uncle Mike's fishing net in your yard to catch chipmunks and moles with my sister Haley. Whenever I eat watermelon bubblegum I think of the summers in NJ, when I eat cherry ice cream with a little freezer burn on it I think of Great Grandmom Eiting. When I smell coffee(which is one of my favorite smells) I think of early morning breakfasts with Grandpop, Breyers neopolitan ice cream coming up from the cellar for dessert after dinner. I will never forget that house, that top window on the 3rd floor where for who knows what reason Haley and I stuck our bare butts out the window for all the neighbors and passer byers to look. Grandmom I think you were in the driveway talking to a neighbor, boy Haley and I flew under the bed because we knew we were in big trouble!(Haley, hope you don't mind me sharing;) how old were we...5 & 7 or so????? I am lucky to have what I have as I look around my home almost everything in it was given to us by people who love and care for us...thank you for helping us make a home for our family we will return the favor to our children and anyone else who is in need. I thank my Heavenly Father I am a mother (a crazy one) but non the less of 3 beautiful little girls. I am grateful to a husband who treats me like a queen and puts up with my nagging and forgetfulness on a daily basis. I am BLESSED!!
