Today

So...to start my day I have to go back to 11pm last night which is how late I was up watching the olympics, for some reason I can't peel myself away from them. Mallerie wakes up at 12:30am to eat which is fine because I have not fallen asleep yet this is her normal reutine but it's usually 2:30am or so. It seems the earlier to bed I get the sooner I fall asleep and the better rest I get go figure...anyway Mallerie then wakes up at 5:30am bright eyed I tried my best to get her to go back to sleep but it didn't work so we layed on the living room floor together she played I closed my eyes. Paige my oldest wakes up at 6:00am to go potty and come out to play with Mallerie so I gave her a stern "it's not time to be up yet" talk and she went back to bed. I think Paige has made this a regular event in the morning I don't know it because I'm asleep so this may be why she is struggling a little bit with school(see previous blog entry for details). I decided to let Paige sleep as long as she was willing even though school starts at 8:23am I would take her late if needed just today. Everything was quiet baby was playing I was dozing off and the next thing I know before 8am my stupid neighbor rings the doorbell to tell me one of the sprinklers in my backyard is spraying straight up in the air, not in his back yard mind you but still he just had to come over and WAKE my kids up with the stupid doorbell. I don't think a sprinkler head is an emergency that needs to be alerted ASAP...RIGHT?? or am I crazy? It's 8:50am I can't wait to see what's next!
