I know it's only cereal, granola bars, cake mixes and instant potato's but I paid less than a dollar for many of them using coupons and no more than $1.88 for all. I am slowly trying to build a good supply my next goal is canned food and more meat for the freezer they have good sales throughout the fall and winter months. You should see the 20 boxes or so of Capri suns and Juice boxes on the bottom shelf they come in handy for soccer, lunches and field trips!! Thare have been times when we have only eaten from our stock even milk(I bought 10 gallons when they were 1.50 a gallon) I only bought fresh veggies and fruit thank goodness we had all this or tummies would be rumbling ;) I get kind of a rush when I look at the receipt and see 50-68% in savings even if we had money I would continue to do coupons and sales it's fun for me.

So are these special deals or do you just shop the weekly sales??? I need to do better at this. So far my stock includes 80 bottles of Powerade Zero--but you can't live off that! LOL :)

So how do you find such awesome deals? I want in on your secret. I get a rush off of saving money too and think that it is always good to be a smart shopper, even if you're a millionaire (which unfortunately I am not!).
