Mallerie has been doing this high pitch screaming thing when she wants something. We have been trying for weeks to teach her sign language to stop the screaming. This morning was the first time she signed "more" for another cracker instead of hanging on the cupboard below what she wants and screaming. I was almost ready to give up but now I have hope we are on our way to being able to hear again, yippee./

Good to hear that Jason's using some signs that he may have learned from his mission! (Ask Jason who I am)
Also, keep going on the sign language! Around here it's GREAT! I'm deaf so my girls learn early! They usually begin about age 6 months and then the really start picking up signs about 12 - 16 months old. It helps SO MUCH with temper tantrums! I haven't had to deal with 'terrible twos' or 'terrible threes' with the 3 girls and the last one is only 8 months old....it makes a WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!
Plus I would hope your hearing would come back after the high pitch screeching!
